Beautiful with a twist. I ordered 4 coffees to go, with milk, cappuccinos. The waiter confirmed several times they can add milk. I understood like they will make a cappuccino like i asked, so i asked where is the frothed milk. You can see in the pictures what they offered Small can milk. When i asked why they did not do a cappuccino i asked them to froth milk since they have a professional espresso machine, they said it is NOT possible to do it! I wanted to get over it and enjoy the coffee that was provided. However, just when preparing to rent a boat from them, when we were adding the canned milk, we were approached and asked “not to make a picnic over there”. And we were just adding milk in the wrong coffees they served, preparing to rent a boat from them. I explained the situation and said it is unacceptable what just happened with the coffees and now to be asked ‘not to make a picnic’ when we were just prepping the coffees they served, i find it totally unacceptable. I later understood that the guy that approached us was the owner, who was an arogant person, saying, and i quote “look how nice it is, you will go and rent MY Boats, do not give a bad review. I will give you free coffees.” End of quote. Of course we refused and started our journey in Giethoorn. Of course, the canals are amazing, stunningly beautiful. I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this restaurant, which I can confidently say is one of the worst I have ever visited. The staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. When we initially tried to order water, we were told that they don't take orders while we're standing and insisted that we sit at a table. We followed their instructions and waited, but no one came to assist us. Feeling frustrated, we decided to return after an hour and seated ourselves again. However, after waiting for 15 minutes, no one came to take our order. When we approached the staff to ask for a menu, one of the older women there rudely told us to look at it from afar. It was only when we insisted on placing an order that we were told we had to be seated properly. I explained that we had been waiting for 15 minutes without any attention, and the response we received was dismissive, suggesting that we simply go to another restaurant if we didn't want to wait for 15 minutes. Overall, the entire staff was unprofessional and discourteous. It's clear that they are in dire need of proper training on how to interact with customers. We were made to move tables thrice at this restaurant before we could finish our lunch stating they have a big group coming. The third time, we were asked to take a seat outside where the tables were wet because of the rains. I asked one of the waiters, where do I sit. He says where ever you like, I say, it's wet and he says I can't help it if it's wet. There were two boys who were totally rude who behaved nasty with us upon the advice of their manager who was also serving as a bartender. This guy is the guru of these lpw hospitable staff. The big group never took the table at all. Even if they have a reservation, they are to inform in a good way and move us to a good table. Instead they wanted to show off their low hospitality. The guys who work there seem like they have zero knowledge on hospitality and service. The only well mannered staff there was this girl, Sandra to whom I have informed about the same. This restaurant is a black mark for a beautiful place like Giethroon. I'm not sure if these people are generally rude or they are simply racist.
